NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING SCHOOL BOND WAIVER REQUEST
BY THE PARLIER UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given pursuant to California Education Code Section
33050 that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Parlier
Unified School District (the “District”) at a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 9,
2019, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as convenient, in the Parlier
Junior High School Cafeteria, which is located at 1200 E. Parlier Avenue, Parlier,
California.
The purpose of said hearing is to receive public comment regarding
whether the District should apply to the State Board of Education for a waiver of
the 2.5% assessed valuation bonding capacity limit for the purpose of issuing
voter-approved general obligation bonds. For information in advance of the
meeting, contact the District’s business office at (559) 646-2731. Any interested
persons may appear and be heard at the public hearing.

Educación de California de que la Mesa Directiva del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Parlier
(el "Distrito") tendra una audiencia pública en la junta regularmente programada para el 9
de abril de 2019, a las 6:00 p.m., o tan pronto como sea conveniente, en la cafetería de la
Escuela Secundaria Parlier, localizada en el 1200 E. Parlier Avenue, Parlier, California.
El propósito de dicha audiencia es recibir comentarios públicos sobre si el Distrito debe
solicitar a la Mesa de Educación del Estado una exención del límite de capacidad de la
fianza de valuación tasada del 2.5% con el fin de emitir bonos de obligación general
aprobados por los votantes. Para obtener información antes de la junta, favor de
