The Parlier Unified School District Board of Trustees announced at last night’s regular meeting in a unanimous vote that Altagracia “Gracie” Guerrero, Ed.D. has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Schools for Parlier Unified School District.

The purpose of this public hearing is for staff and community members to provide input regarding Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan.  The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at John C. Martinez Elementary School. All interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend and comment.

We'd like to welcome our students back to school for the 2020-2021 school year! As we continue to make safety a priority throughout our district, we will begin the year with online instruction. All school sites have distributed a letter to parents and students with important information regarding the start of school, which is August 25, 2020 for Cohort A and August 26, 2020 for Cohort B.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Board of the Parlier Unified
School District will hold a hearing and consider input from the public on the
proposed adoption of a Developer Fee Justification Study for the District and an
increase in the statutory school facility fee (“Level I Fee”) on new residential and
commercial/industrial developments as approved by the State Allocation Board on
January 22, 2020.

A HUGE congratulations goes out to Mrs. Caufield, Mrs. Leija and ALL the staff of John C. Martinez Elementary School for being awarded the 2020 California PBIS Community Cares State recognition for "their outstanding contribution of support and care during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic"!!!

On July 21st, the Parlier Unified School District Board of Trustees passed a resolution that pushed back the start of school from August 17th to August 25th (for Cohort A) and August 26th (for Cohort B). For our staff, this affords us more time for professional development, in order to prepare for a robust virtual (online) instructional program. For our students and parents, this provides more time to prepare, also, for the start of school.

The next PUSD Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. at John C. Martinez Elementary School.  Closed Session will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by Open Session at 6:00 p.m. You can join us online or in person!
